Ian, I am truly sorry about the family issues, and they are still ongoing. I think about that project practically every day (still have the STM docs sitting on the unused half of my king sized bed...the stm board starting me in the face whenever I sit down at the computer at the house. It is so frustrating. And the real rub, is that I have to do everything now, both what I normally do and what the soon to be ex wife did.) so my time is even more limited....I feel like my head is going to explode sometimes.

Well here is a start to the documentation. The base model Moodz detector. The POPI .... "Plain old PI". DONT BUILD THIS - ITS JUST TO ILLUSTRATE THERE IS A CIRCUIT ... It works for me but I corrected some things. It makes a good test platform for testing various ideas etc.
I will have some more time in the coming days to add more detail to a useful project build document.

Hi Moodz, is that part of the circuit correct ? How are you triggering Q1, normal PI gate control or TEM gate control ?

No its not correct ... thats why I said dont build it :-) ... normal PI gate control.

... I said dont build it ... the front end is a place holder .... I am converting the design into two parts. A backend with all the cpu power signal chain etc and a pluggable front end so front ends can be changed.( with the damping etc ) ... The cct above is in mid draw ... it has errors.
The build document will contain the build instructions.

.... not trying to upset you ... its just I already stated there was errors and that I would create a "container" the build document to put everything in ... when we start putting the detail into the build doc ( template posted above ) .. then the questions can start and the corrections / suggestions folded back into the build doc.

Thanks ... all ... I have added some content ( schems ) to the BD so you should now get and idea how this is going to go. The frontend will be a separate pluggable module. If you have any suggestions or comments that you feel should be included now is the time to start discussing in the thread and then if most agree its a good idea then will go into document. ... the idea author will get a credit in the revision log.
