Before I can answer your questions I feel like I should ask you something.

Being as how the schematic for Pulse 'x' posted on Gary's website does not have a number of component values labeled, you either need a parts list before you could complete the project or else you would need to purchase a kit of parts.

Have you obtained a complete parts list? If so, would you please post a copy or a link to it?

I looked all over Gary's website and could not find a parts list to either Pulse I or Pulse II.

By the way, read the previous thread in this forum. It seems to indicate that the only way you can find the missing component values is through purchasing a kit.

      (Ain't that a beach.)

One other thing is that Gary suggests the Pulse I would be a much better project for beginners. And he will not waste time trying to help someone who gets stuck if they have not purchased basic kit of parts and PCB from him.

At Least this way you get the CORRECT, good quality PARTS.
And at a Very Reasonable Price.

Sorry but Previously I had Too Many guys Insisting on HELP to fix their Problems of using CHEAP Parts or Substituting parts that were not acceptable.

You will get some technically challenged individuals (er, newbees) trying to built these things, without test equipment, and with little previous experience, and you have every right to not be bothered with their problems.

But look, I don't want to sound combative but you state on your home page "Free Electronic Circuits to Build, And they all Work". If you don't provide all the necessary information for the Pulse x detectors unless somebody purchases the kit, how is that free?

Couldn't you see fit to re-post the parts list(s) but maintain the warning that you can't be bothered by problems encountered when somebody builds from scratch?

It Doesn't say ALL are Free.
              Sorry I can't please Everyone.

Some Guys WON'T take NO for an Answer.
They just kept Emailing me Over and Over Again.

So when I did the Newer Revised Design, I Decided Enough is Enough!
I Presently do this Electronics 7 Days a week and over 10 Hours a Day, Including Many Custom Designs.

Besides, There are Numerous Other PI Designs on here.
              So Build one of them!

              Sorry.

There are only so many hours in one day. I wish I had your salesmanship.

Unless you want big headache you would build Pulse I, not II.

I have seen where you say you will now build Deltapulse. That is like jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Despite your not getting help from Gary; provided you have PCB pattern, a parts list, AND THE CORRECT PARTS you would probably have an easier time with Pulse I, not that either one is easy.
