  • Analog 200UA meter AC or DC??????

    Dear Gurus,

I am searching for 200 milliamp ammeters in my place for my Pulse-I . The shop keepers are asking whether it is AC or DC, there is no information about it on Garys website. I had a blank face coz I dont know.... Please suggest..

Meter alone (without additional stages) is always DC. In your case "naked" DC meter.

For AC measurement you need to ad diodes or transistor stage to rectify AC.

Go with what Chemelec states . If you can't find one go with someing lower and make up the differance With a resistor.

              Hi Gary,

I am sorry for not ordering the meter from you. Luckily I got it in my place. And after installing it the unit looks and works great. Thank you for the Great Design on behalf of all the people who built it.
