yup. close SAMPLE DELAY pads by jumper and set MAIN SAMPLE DELAY value on 12-15us by R14 tuning.
i think that is somewhere in George's file HOW-TO-DO.

    PS. STEP #6.

Is there a way to increase volume? I find the sound is a little low. Great for headphones but some background noise can makes it difficult to hear what's going on.
I'm using a piezo over a speaker as it has more volume or at least a higher pitch.
Could try one of these but they would slow me down a tad in the field. Lot of extra weight.

The Baracuda design does have a fairly weak audio output, especially if you use an 8 ohm speaker. The volume is more acceptable with a 50 ohm speaker, which is what I used.

            Thanks.

The original Baracuda specified a 25k value for R14. The parts list is correct with 20k for the Geotech Baracuda. If I ever get around to creating a REV-B version, I'll update the Build Document (again).
