Additional precision in the clocking (such as using a crystal) probably won't make any difference. You don't need PWMs to create the pulses either, interrupt-driven bit-banging works just fine.

R41 is log (audio taper, AT) and R35 is linear.

Thanks a lot of. Have you try with two coils, not DD-coils ? Is it some cobination egsisting? I trying my Delta Pulse detector and My frien having Hammerhead. DeltaPulse work on 100Hz, Hammerhead was 900Hz and when they worked together on some distance and some angle , I think we have some special noise under taget and more more deeply. But I have not to much expirience and I am not sure. I like to explain me somebody Can it be?

Two detectors are better than one ?

        Hi Gocko,
Try the same test in air and see if you get the same result with a known target

          trying

It's working but not too much good. I thing that I need to try to decrease freq. of the HH to 300Hz . In some forums I read : Third harmonic of base freq. will be more sensitivity and separated for ears and I can hear the voice better.

You can also use a simple jdm programmer and Winpic800 software
                works very good for 12f683

I have to say I am with 6666 on this. I have a dozen programmers up to the pickit3, most are USB, one is parallel Willem, but I keep using my JDM (identical to above pic posted by 6666) on com4 with WinPic800 more than anything else. I love the thing. Also to anyone experimenting along these lines listen to Carl, you simply must put a header for an ICSP port on your boards. So much nicer to experiment changing code parameters quickly on the fly as you work. Don't ask me why since as Carl said you do not need a crystal but I use one on every pic project I build. Possibly because I have less trouble with timing routines as I always know exactly how fast the pic is clocking.
