Batteries?

Is there any reason why not to use Lith-ion batteries on this project or any others, for instance 11.4v 3 cell for this project.

If you have got Lipo use them

@Badboydas, It is found there in abundance. Some call Afghanistan "the Saudi Arabia of lithium", but it is more likely it will end as Congo with their rich deposits of coltan (tantalum). Time will tell, it can turn to the benefit of the people in Afghanistan, but I wouldn't bet my house on it.
