  • ground effect problem solved

Hello. After adjusting my HH1 and test it I found a big problem of ground effect, difficult to solve with adjustable presets, Then I followed the advice of Reg:You might try reducing the power into the coil some by simply adding a 25 ohm resistor in series with the FET. At first, one will worry about a possible depth loss, but you will be surprised how little is lost. I put a pot in series and the problem went away, I had to find a middle between eliminating the ground effect and greater sensitivity, but it really worked, thanks, see you soon.

One more proof, that brute force approach provide more loss than obtain.
