    Hi Silver dollar
    I didn't know they sold just the coil housing ,i knew they sold them with coils so this is new to me .
    I also noticed they sell the bolts and nuts ..
    Oh i am going to have to think about this now as i didn't know they existed .
    I am thinking there are 2 sides to it and clip together ? or do you have to still have to resin your coil in if the bottom is just an opening ?
    Either way thats an idea ...i want to make another 2 metal detectors so a few of those will come in handy .

      Here's the bigfoot housing I bought before I knew they had the 10 1/2" for the same price.

      It is 2 sides that you glue together. Making the coil solid with epoxy inside is probably a good idea..

        Do you know the type of epoxy thats good to use on these things .

        I really like casing that would make life easier when making these things .

        I am still thinking about it if i should try and make the casing shape wise out of wood or that thick plastic knife kitchen boards or just mold the shape with resin.
