I just got the first batch of PC boards back, they turned out really nice. Single-sided, tinned copper, silkscreened, and drilled.
I'll try to dig up past emails of people who were interested in one, but to speed things up, please shoot me an email if you want one. I'm basically gonna cover my cost, so they will be $10 each, includes shipping in the US & Canada. Elsewhere is per actual shipping.
Sorry, I haven't gotten much time to write up assembly instructions. I made a simplified schematic of one design option (VCO audio) that I will post soon. And, I will try to get the paper written up or, at the very least, post what I have so far. Everything will be in the Metal Detector - Projects - PI1 page.
Oh yeah, looking for a name to call this project. "PI-1" was the working name, but is lame... I need something snazzier. Thought of "Magnum PI", after the old TV show, but it's kinda lame too, plus there is already a "Magnum" detector project.
Any ideas?
