  • PI-1 DETECTOR PROBLEM

Hi Carl, i just finidh building the PI detector, but did't work, so after some tracing ,i find a jumper missing at the components side of the pcb (option 1), the jumper shoul be located at the left side of C21, it's to feed +5 volts to ic8 (the tl072) at pin 8.

    PI-1 problem... please read!

Yes, Jorge, you're right... how embarassing! I double checked the placement diagrams, thought I had marked all the shorts, but missed that one. Guess I should triple-check next time.

Both placement PDFs have been updated on the PI-1 project page. To restate, a jumper is needed next to C21 to supply power to IC8.

    Thanks for catching that.
