  • Burned audio transistor?

    I just fired up my HH and the timings are good. The signal out of the preamp is good.

    But when I adjusted the volume pot Q11 smoked! Should I add a 10 ohm resistor in
    series with the speaker? I'm using a tiny laptop 8 ohm speaker for now.

        I have the same problem. I re built the audio again -twice- in different format pcb manhatten protoboard to some what avoid a construction error.
        but the same problem.....
