PI-1 Project Question to the timing circuit

Hi Carl

I had a closer look at your timing circuit (IC11 & 12) and have one question. Is there a "wanted missing connection" between IC11 PIN6 and IC12 PIN6 to avoid a ground loop in the timing circuit?
Or do you forgot the connection in the drawing?

I'm asking because PIN 6 has an internal connection with PIN 8 (GND) (see TI datasheet pg 4) and both IC PINs (6) are anyway connected together over the -5D rail. So it doesn't matter if you forgot the connection.

I doubt it makes any difference whether the pin 6s are externally grounded or not. I followed the recommended hook-up, in which pin 6 is internally grounded.
