  • If you have not successfully built the Voodoo circuit as it is designed then trying to convert HH+GB into a Voodoo-like hybrid will be exceptionally difficult. Build Voodoo first, get it working, and learn how it works.

      I want to add only its DISC part. I don't want to reject Iron, just want to show it via a simple LED.
      Do you think it works?

          The blunt answer to your question is "no".

          May I make a suggestion? ... Instead of phishing for information, why not buy the book and read it, and preferably build the Voodoo circuit.
          You will then understand why adding true ferrous/non-ferrous discrimination to a PI is not as simple as you think.

            I have no problem for buying the book.
            For exp, i already bought your IMD (second version, PDF version) and read !!!
            Unfortunately, my country is under boycott and your link (world wide web Book) will not send to my country!
            There is no Amazon or etc. office in my country!
            For this reason, i requested to buy its electronic version. So you again told me "no PDF"!
            Thus, i have to request you to only share me the wave form, and you told me again "No".

            • An image of the waveform will not help you. Your approach of attempting to add ferrous/non-ferrous discrimination to and HH+GB combination is basically flawed.
              In which country do you live?

                    Dear Carl
                    I'm going to develop HHD by adding some ICs.
                    I think power of HHD may can not generate adequate current.
                    So, i want to generate a separate +-/5V for the ICs.
                    Please see attached, do you think it's correct?

                    • The top 7805 should connect directly to the other 7805 (no diodes). You should also check your power budget to make sure the 7660 can supply the additional current.

                              RX: 880 uH

                              Do you think the values, especially RX value, good for Voodoo project?

                                I hope you are passing good days.
                                Please forgive me for my questions.
                                I want to increase TX frequency of HHD to 4-5KHz.
                                Do you think HHD can work over the range or i must use it over its maximum original range 900-2300Hz?
