Another Hammerhead in construction
Here is my SMT version I'm prepping for the beach. I'm setting this one up a bit like a Beachscan. Using a White's rod and a Garrett 12" coil off a XL-500. Also Garrett headphones off same.
Plan to also take my Beachscan and Sandshark (aka Sandpig).

I see that we have the same idea about the box.
I put all the adjust resistors on the front side of the box and i put only the adjust resistor (R1
for Zero of the front end AOP.
I see also that you use waterproof connector for the coil but it's not a coax connector?
What kind of batterie do you use: 12v Pb cell or 8 x 1,24V cells or other?
I plan to use 8x1,24V 1700mA Nimh batterie.

It looks great Carl. very professional. Looking at the controls it looks like you have just Pulse width, Rate and maybe threshold as the the rest are preset.
