  • Hammerhead PCB - Carl ;)

    Carl,
Looking for a PCB to make the Hammerhead.
I bet you had lots of fun on the Hammerhead project. Congrats! I need a PC Board as I want to build a nice PI unit. I have been in electronics all of my life, but now I don't have the time or equipment to make a board. Please let me know if they are still available or if you have a source. I'd greatly appreciate your time to reply...Anyone ???

    Regards,

    John

I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO GET A PC BOARD FOR THE HAMMERHEAD BUT CANNOT DO PAYMENT THRU PAYPAL BECAUSE THEY DO NOT ACCEPT SOUTH AFRICAN CURRENCY.
        ANY OTHER WAY???

Re: Hammerhead PCB - Carl DIFFERENCE Opt. 1 & 2

Carl ... Also, if it's not a bother, what is the difference between the "VCO" and "Non-VCO" versions, opt. 1 & 2? I am a little ignorant of the difference and PI machines...Thanks

Re: Hammerhead PCB - Carl DIFFERENCE Opt. 1 & 2

VCO & non-VCO refer to the type of audio response. VCO is similar to the old BFO detector, where the audio pitch rises & falls as you sweep over a target. Non-VCO has a constant frequency, and the loudness increases over a target.

I prefer VCO, but some folks hate it, which is why I included both options.

Western Union, cash (USD, Euros, or Pounds Sterling preferred), check... whatever I can convert reasonably easily.
