Hammerhead

I am interested in building the Hammerhead. I do not have much electronic knowledge but did manage to build Carl's magnetometer, which I purchased the parts through "Fat Quarters".

I have some great sites that need a large detector, or pi detector to hunt. What I will be hunting will be all iron targets.

Is this project too hard to a person with limited electronic knowledge to build? Are parts readily available and does Carl still have the circuit boards for sale.?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Boards are still available, parts are pretty easy to get... HH is a little more complicated than the FMX project, but if you built FMX then HH shouldn't be a big problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. If you can please send me your address and the cost of the circuit board I will get part of the project started.

Are the plans for the Hammerhead listed on the Geotech Forum? I have looked and cannot seem to find them.

This is a really neat site. One of the best of the best. Anyone interested in treasure hunting and the likes would be interested in this site.
