After reading through the Hammerhead forum I am a bit confused as to which pots to mount on the circuit board and which pots to mount on the control box. Carl recommended R31 (threshhold); R3 (pulse width); R42 (main pulse delay); R34 (Autotrack); and the volume R41. I am planning to mount on the circuit board R23; R45; R2; R18; R35; and R46. Is this correct? Any help will be appreciated.

Main pulse delay is the most useful external control. Threshold is probably stable enough to leave on the PCB once you get it where you want, and volume could be left on the PCB if you use headphones. I don't tend to mess with Autotrack at all, and TX pulse width very little, so they could be PCB mounted. You could easily get it down to 1 or 2 knobs.
On the other hand, I have an 8-knob version that puts everything on external controls. This is what you would do if you want to experiment with all the settings to see how they affect operation.
