My conversion didn't work. Here's what I did. Added Q10, R55, R51, R49 and re-did jumpers as follows.
Removed jumper from IC9 pin 6 to pin 2, and connected pin 2 to N8. Removed jumper from Q6 collector to IC9 pin 6 and reconnected Q6 collector to Q11 base.
I did something wrong but can't figure it out! ( No threshold control)
I am making the change for a friend who has a hearing problem. He can't hear above 1 kHz. I will set R55 for 300 Hz so he can hear his detector. I hope!
