I have settled on the LME49710 for the front end and the LM4562 for the integrator/back-end. I like the specs as well as the performance. SUPER low noise and THD with a high slew rate and high bandwidth.
I've been able to boost the last stage to 122 gain for a very sensitive 12.2mil total gain (if I got the numbers right). This chip set combination settles quickly after start-up and is quite responsive and stable.
Both chips are available in DIP which is way cooler than making carriers for soic's (like a lot of my other chip set tries). About $8 US for both at DigiKey. Here's the links for the specs:
