Thanks Silverdog. I'll play around with my Surf PI in the meantime and try to figure out why I get terrible depth!

Sorted out the poor depth on the Surf, IC 4093 wasn't seated properly. Pressed on it and a loud tone came out. Detection depth went from iffy 6" on my wedding band to iffy 14" on my wedding band! 10" single layer spiral
