  • Looks to me like the TX is working but the coil isn't connected. Looking at your photo I'm not sure you have things connected correctly.

Both ends of coil (start and finish) are joined. Then from the joint One Wire go to pin 2 of TX connection, another go to pin 2 of RX connector. I Will upload photo of coil ASAP.
Thank you very much Mr. Carl for the Help.
      Regards.

That sounds completely wrong. Have you shorted out the coil?

          Hi Mr. Qiaozi,
English is not my Mother language so its Also possible that i misread something.
          I built a monocoil.
If we consider A to be the starting of the wendings, and B the finish tip. I joined both. Then splied to Wires de from the joint point, One to RX, another to TX.
          Is this wrong?
          "Have you shorted the coil?"
I understand this as have jointed start of coil with end of the coil?
          If so, yes i did.
Sorry if i am look like a dumb, which i acept to be a learning One...

            This is my connection.
From left to right. We can see 2 Wires..
The One marked with green tape is the ending tip of the coil. I joined with the start tip. From there i soldered 2 Wires, One to RX another to TX. Then added the camping jig.
Hope this PIC would clear what i Have done.
When help to find what os wrong.
PS: beside English not being my Mother language my phoen picks some caps and words for me...sorry Also about that.Click image for larger version

            • Per Fig 14 of the assembly document, it should be like this:

You can attach the damping circuit in parallel with the coil.

friends, i'm not being lazzy, it's just that my usual suplier (Digi-key online + 2 local shops) don't have this MC14358BCP, it's identified as obsolete....
any one knows an alternative, or other suplier?
                            Thanks in advance.
                            best regards,

You cannot use CD4098 as a replacement unless you redesign the PCB because the pin-out is completely different.
By the way, the IC you are looking for is MC14538, not MC14358. There are some available in ebay.

I just saw the datasheet and since my suplier have the CD4098 i thought that those could be uses.
Thank you very much. I Will surely have a look on eBay then.
