Just to let everyone know, Silverdog placed an order for the REV-B boards on Tuesday. From past experience I expect these will take just over 2 weeks to arrive. The plan is to build one unit, and write the documentation during the build.
        More later ...

The REV-B design is different to the REV-A, so I would hold fire on ordering any components until I publish the final schematic and parts list.

                One small step ...

Andy (Silverdog) sent me a few of the new Minipulse Plus REV-B boards, and they arrived today.
They look good ... and now I just need the time to build one and write the documentation.
So please be patient. We're slowly getting there.

                        Field Test

                        IMG.pdf

here's a field test of the minipulse.

the 13" depth in air on an old English penny (cartwheel type) is a couple of inches more than my DF PI and about the Same as my TDI with GB on!

Andy (Silverdog) says they'll be about £7 each.

I did a bit more on the build tonight, and so far so good.
                            Power supplies are stable.
TX running at 1kHz with 80us pulse width.
                            Faster preamp working as expected.
Sample generator creating all the right pulses.
Integrating sampler giving a good signal at the output when a target is placed near the coil.
Just to need to fit final integrator and audio stage, so nearly there.

                              Great news Qiaozhi, bravo.

Maybe you can post last version of schematic?
