Help adjusting r6 on mini pulse rev d please.

I have put the mini pulse together as per instructions. I need to adjust r6 but I don't have an oscilloscope. I am getting very little depth when air testing with coins. My coil is a nugget finder 8x6 mono coil. Are there any readings I should be getting off the PCB.

As it says in the Build Document (Step 6) - which is where I assume you've got to: "If no oscilloscope is available, then build the sampling integrator in Step7 before adjusting R6."

Thanks for all the help. My mate came round with his multi meter and everything is working fine. It appears mine was faulty. I have now put it all together. Can't wait to take it for a swing. Cheers
