  • Help With Step 6 Is this Right?

    Everything was going great and I'm getting all three samples but the first sample is synchronized with the TX. R6 adjusts the width of the sample but not the sample delay. I've built a working surf master and hammerhead but I'm just learning electronics so my trouble shooting skills are weak. Everything looks correct on my board and all previous steps checked out.
    Help Please!

    The width of the pulse in your image is the sample delay. Look at Fig-10 in the Build Document. The monostable that generates the actual sample pulse is triggered from the falling edge of the sample delay pulse, so altering the sample delay pulse width alters the time at which the sample pulse starts. Basically, it's working as advertised. It's just that you've misunderstood how it works.

      I was thrown off by figure 10 as it shows the gap between cut off and sample.
