Built Minipulse Plus rev D

Hi, I finally got round to finishing my minipulse off having done the board months ago. No problems encountered at all. Would just like to say a big thank you to George for all the work that went into this and to Silverdog for getting the excellent boards made.








The basket coil is housed in a Frisbee and the handle is 20mm conduit, case came from RS not yet decided whether to mount it on the handle or hooked onto belt. Just have to get out and learn how to use it. Happy to post some more photos if anyone is interested. Next project is the Surf board that I bought at the same time.

Good job on the build! Congratulations.
One minor point though, the proper name for the coil you have built is '3DSS' wlhich stands for 3 Dimensonal coil wind, Self Shielding. It is unlike any other Basket, Spider, or Spiral coil, none of which are self shielding. I made the mistake of calling the 3DSS a 'spider coil' for a few years before I did the research to find this 3D design from the 1930s.
