  • Any audio booster circuits or kits out there?

Hey guys just been looking into audio boosters. Does anyone have a circuit for one or know where i can get a kit for one? Obviously im after the type that boosts low signals/sounds but doesn't blast your ears off with larger targets/sounds. Just dont want to sped $158 on one from ebay :/

It may get even simpler if you have any audio transformers from old discarded receivers.

I dont think this circuit is working correct, dc current is flowing thru the speaker..

LOL, Of Course it is. How do you think the speaker would make sound? It follows the source signal. Trust me ! It works better then fine.. Read the document. It was produced commercially for years.

Just to double check. This will raise lower sounds while not blowing my ears of with the louder ones?

LOL...SORRY ,i trust you, , the critical point is the supply voltage (1.5 VDC) it must be working.

Yes it limits the Blast. Works some what like a Compander circuit. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Companding
