Hey all. I have some 30awg enamel copper wire at home. Just wondering how many turns to about an 8inch coil. Just something simple to test my minipulse plus. Also any idea what resistor to use with it?

I did a test coil a while ago using 30 awg, .25mm. I came up with 290uH @ 1.5 Ohms with 21 turns. I'm going by memory! Use the "sticky" Coil calculator

I believe that is the wire prescribed for the TGSL Coil.

lay down three wire in one and wind the coil. thats will be like one 0,8mm wire you need.
