Adding LEDs to indicate targets

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has added LEDs to their board to flash when a target has been found.

I've been looking for a way to have an led light up that goes along with the audio. I thought I saw something on geotech that did this with the mpp but I can't find it.

Anyone know a way to hook up LEDs to the mpp?

I used a Red and green common cathode led, Green goes to power switch via a resistor , Red goes in junction with speaker or head phone's also with a resistor to the led, When the target far away from the coil, the green turns to yellow and more red it gets closer to the coil it became. a simplistic approach for a none technical person such as my self but works.

Hi Tibuck19, your LED setup look like it would work perfectly for what I'd like to accomplish.

I'm trying to understand how the RED led part is connected to the mpp, did you just connect it directly to the audio output at PL5?
