  • bf245 instead of j113

Hi I realized the miniplus but after the tests, I found that the detection is weak, knowing that I placed the transistor bf245 instead of j113 .... is this modification the cause of this weakness .. !!??

      Try BF256

Did you account for the different pinout?

The cut-off gate-source voltage of the J113 is guaranteed to be not lower than -3V. The BF245 can vary and be as low as -7.5V. If I remember correctly the battery + is the analog ground, and it's also the HIGH of the logic signal that controls the gate, so depending on the battery voltage the FET switch may not be closing fully. With a generic BF245 the battery should be 9V or more. The variants BF245A and B are guaranteed to turn off at -3.8v.

I use BF245A on my GS4 without any problem.
