Mmmm yes, i tried coil for Tesoro Tejon and work's very good with this machine, but i can't remember capacitor's for rx and tx.
Also, tried rx from tgsl, which is 6.5mh and work good. So, 1mh for tx, 6.5 for rx, i posted video sometimes ago with those setup, coil was 8.5 inch.

newer tesoro coils have Ratio from 1mH tx -14mH rx (4pin connector)

      older models 6 and 6,5 (5pin connector)

calculation for expexted values is not difficult
Ratio of frequencies from tx and rx should be 1: 1,2

      example
      1mH and 330nf are 8,76khz (TX)
      14mh and 22nf are 9,7khz (RX)

if i take 8,76 * 1,2 i achieve 10,4 khz so my 14mh with 22nf is not perfect after calculation
so i can Change L of coil or caps size

if i take 10,5mh and 22nf i achieve 10,47khz tha would be good but the induced voltage can be lower
so i try more mH and other cap size

      if i take 15nf and 15mh i get 10,6khz this is a good choice

Here is another schematic that's the same as the two I posted above. I noticed they were the same while looking through my schematics archive. I Can't remember which cscope but maybe the cs2 pro. And here's a very compact layout for Wave/Admiral which is the same circuit.
I have a Sprint file of the pcb if you want it, no problem.
