It increases the gain and makes the last filter stage faster, try it. Basically they are the same circuit.

I would like too but, can someone confirm it is for the board sold by silverdog, because R29 and R31 is already at 1meg on my board.

Edu mod has already got gain increase, you just have to do the other half of Davors mod. Change capacitors with diodes.

VDI compatibility

Hi:
This is my first post, after going on the forum a lot. One of the things I've read is that this mod makes VDI reading unstable. Can someone confirm this and tell me what part can I do without interfering with the vdi?
Another question. I have seen a Vladimir mod in which he replaces D12 with a zener. Does anyone know what advantages it offers, less chatter?
