      ...or wrong solder joint.

      Happened to my first TGSL.

        Hello, I just finished the tgsl, it sounds continually?
        TGSL values:

        Battery 11volt

        R55 = 1.25v
        R43 = -5.55v
        R54 = 7.87v
        LM308 pin4 = -5.55v pin7 = 7.97v
        LM308 pin4 = -5.55v pin7 = 7.96v
        LM358 pin4 = -5.35v pin8 = 7.96v
        LM358 pin4 = -5.55v pin8 = 10.38v
        LF353 pin4 = -5.55v pin8 = 7.96v
        LM393 pin4 = -5.54v pin8 = 7.96v
        LM393 pin4 = -5.57v pin8 = 7.96v

          I think you should have more than -6 volts. As CDI said check for solder joint maybe there is no connection somewhere. Check the diodes in the negative voltage converter D6-7 check the transistors or even the capacitors.

            How to check transistor voltage and
            Capacitor (voltage value?)

              Are those components new? or used ones? If they are used try to change them. You must achieve -6 volts. Check the continuity of the diodes with a multi meter.

                I happened to put the b140 upside down and that was why it was constantly beeping.

                  Hello, it used a TL081 instead of the LM308, it seems to me that it is necessary to remove the compensation capacitors of 100pF for it to work, could you confirm me, thank you

                    I am not sure, I just used TL071 (low noise brother of TL081) and it worked as it should...

                        Hello, I answer with a little delay!
                        I saw on the forum another schema of the TGSL
                        On this diagram, the bd140 is an NPN and the one I have a PNP?
                        ? Maybe my circuit does not work
                        For this reason, a sound continues!

                          No, you are right, BD 140 is PNP.

                            Hi FRIENDS, in the spirit of moving the forum I add an experience. Making some modifications to my TGSL I soldered the d12 backwards and the result was a constant pii although it did not stop detecting. I leave it as an experience just in case someone happens to you.
