Left leg (in) is 12V or your actual battery voltage. 8V should be on oposite (out) leg of 7808.

Edit: I am talking about that TP11 on the right side. Why there are two TP11?

    • the schematic shows both points combined make TP11 so thats why it looks as if there there are two TPs. You may post a better diagram for the novice.

      • My TGSL can work, just fix the coil. But his voice is very small. What causes the 8 ohm speaker can't scream loudly?

        • TGS is just for $35 guys.

            • Regards on your works guys. I have an problem with my circuit .. i connect in rx and tx (with shields) but the circuit was silent.no noise from speaker now i wont to check the +5 and-5v ..should i conecct tx and cd4024 on board without other chips to check for the voltages?have ni scope.. any help will make me happy...
              Thx in advance

                • Yes, u need to attach coil to get -5. Try to search the thread u will find all the info

                  • I put the tx but volyage is just 0.6volt dc at there.. i cant get 16 v at tx i checked the board but didnt get where the voltage is stopped(i have 8volt dc at lm7808 )

Measured with scope? Can you show us oscilloscope screenshot of this measurement? Also high resolution image of your board from both sides?

                      • I tryed to get the voltage in digital voltmetre and didnt used an scope..i will buy it near.

On the 6. pin of cd4023 2.5volt dc
But no noise on the speaker quite dead

                        • Just 1 thing ..should we use a scope to detect -5v ?or we can detect it also on digital voltmeter?

                          • Hmm, 0,6V of DC on Tx looks good Just kidding. Most of DMM are unable to handle AC at 15kHz, but try it with all your DMMs in AC mode and you will see if any is capable... The same case is pin 6 (/16) of CD4024, which should be square wave (0 to 8V). If your DMM has frequency counter mode, you should measure something around 15000/16 = 938 Hz. Or just check pin 3 (/128 ), where you should see around 15000/128 = 117 Hz, any DMM with frequency counter should be able to measure this. But it tells you nothing about Tx voltage and sinwave purity.

Yes, you can check minus rail with DMM, for example on pin 4 of LF353 (U101a), should be around -6V.

Obtain DSO 138 at least. I bought kit for maybe 20 euro and work well 2 years already. After firmware update it even measure duty cycle, Vpp and other... Than walk through TGSL 101 document. Speaker is on the other end of this path, but with little patience you will get there too.

Without scope we can use only our oracle crystal ball and I still do not handle it well

At tx now i have 8dc voltage and approximaly 6 ac.
I regornized the oscilator dont qork at circuit becouse if wrong pleased 2n 2907.. i put it well and oscillator worked
