And thanks to Gary, for gently prodding me!

I've posted the latest rev (PDF) in the Metal Detector/Schematics section. Neg supply caps have been properly oriented, and the caps that had no values (XX) now do. Also added a note about transistor types. Hope the cap values are right, I used a B&K 878 which seems to be more stable than the HP I had.

Two comments:

1. I got different measurements, out of circuit for those xx caps. I wonder now if my Cutlass II has different values. I did compare known values to what I was measuring, so the equipment was ok.

2) My PNP transistors are marked 2F, and the NPN 1P. Not that it matters much, but those would be 2907 (pnp) and 2222 (npn).

Well, I'm always skeptical trying to measure caps in-circuit, because other components can cause errors. So I absolutely, positively, will not stand behind the values I measured!

The 2907 and 2222, are basically the same as the 3906 & 3904.

Blank to all. I have realized the bandidoII published from Carl and I have used the transistors originate them and for the CAP XX I have used smaller or equal values of 10pF and have pointed out many tests without differences and loss of stability or performances. by
