Could be.
He needs to post Clear, well lit, close up photos of the top and bottom of the board.
Maybe then we can spot something he missed.

Hello, I've checked the position and it's correctly set.

I have filled the coils with resin and the performance has improved. It is working with two sensitivity potentiometers for each U104 and U105 (with the NE5534). The result is acceptable to me (it is my first detector).

By the way, the pcb was made by me in Eagle (I regret this, although I have learned the circuit and how it works).

Thanks for the answers, they were all very useful for me. Soon I want to make a PI detector, so I will surely ask again (I hope not).
