  • TGSL need advice

    Hello ,
    I just finished my project,
on the card I have there is a 4V3 diode
in addition to the 7808 regulator and a transistor in addition ect ...
I soldered all the components! I put the circuit
powered on and it doesn't work!
    do you have any suggestions?

    Oscillator not working?

      Yes, is it oscillating?

Check on the TX Coil with your O'scope.

You do have the TX coil connected, right?

        Hello ,
        Nandor and Waltr,
I don't know if the oscillator is working?
the two coils are connected! no sound !
and I have no oscilloscope worthy of this no!
I only have a small DSO 138 (gadjet)
tell me how to do? Thank you .

Yes, something else! I was going to forget about the map that I have, there is
more components and a 4V3 Zener diode, why?
what is this diode for? Thank you .

You have to see why its not working. The oscillator is the heart of this circuit, the 4,3V zenner is for amplitude stabilization.

            Hello, Nandor,
I have deleted the parts in red on the map! ( see Attachment )
on the other hand for the moment, I left the sp1 wiring
when powering up I have a continuous sound !!
I will soon rewire sp1 (green color )Click image for larger version

for the modifications I used the diagrams of the final tgsl rev 3

There is no negative voltage thats the reason for the continous sound, check the oscillator.

This is what I looking, for the 4V3 zener is it save to replace with 1N4731A ? 1Watt rated?

You can use almost any kind, it will work. The zenner is for amplitude limitation, so the sinewave wont be distorted.
