TGSL versions

Hi there! I'm new in the forum. I'm going to start soon my building of a TGSL, cause after reading a lot in this forum I feel rather it is one of the most popular and better documented.
However, I'm a little confused about several variants and mods. So I kindly ask the experts the following questions:

1. What is the main difference between TGSL V3, TGSL 1265 and TGSL-EDU?

2. What is the most recent of these?

2. What mod/variant is expandable to include enhancements and future experimenting, eg 2-tones and/or VDI?

3. What is the best TGSL version recommended for a newbie to start? (I like gold nuggets and relic hunting)

4. What is your opinion on the GSL (Russian version)?

Start with Best for new person.
That is the TGSL-EDU since Most of the documentation and most builds are this version so you'll get the most help.

Do be sure to down load the TGSL 101 pdf doc. This has great info of building, adjusting and troubleshooting.

running ahead remember this sch does not give negative voltage without a coil connected.
massive amount of troubles i meet everytime.
