Do you realize Carl, you could probably dedicate a forum to that circuit and it would keep us busy for years?

    Re: Bandido Circuit

With all the improovements , modifications and add-ons , I sure hope a final schematic and pcb photo will be posted. And maybe someone will sell a pcb board, and post some coil winding data and coil photos , if not then ill build and post my results, wish i didnt have a full time job, so i can build "full time " some of these great detector circuits. Thanks everyone Gene L.

      Re: Bandido Circuit

here is the coil schematic, i will try it this evening or tomorrow.
The second TX coil in green is in the reverse direction thant the main TX coil. The number of the green coil has to be adjusted to cancel the received field in the RX coil !

I will tell you more if it works !

            Re: Bandido Circuit

It works !!! but it is not very sensitive.
I have succeded in canceling the RX signal, but i have not the correct phase shift between RX and TX. It is what i have to optimize !

              Re: Salt

Yes, I posted a few times. But the drawback is iron will be detected also.

Do you know that link in your post is a porn site?

This might sound stupid but try reversing the receive coil connections.

Not stupid , but i have tried it and the phase shift in not good neighter.

I have to play on the coil number ratios to have a good compromise. I will retry it this week end !

I will post some pictures of it if it works !
Before I find the solution for this coil, i use a standard tesoro coil (see picture)
