  • SUPER SILVER SABRE U-MAX STRIKES GOLD

Well I did it on my own. Add'd ground balance, 2 disc modes, all metal/disc switch.

It works, ground balance is a little touchy.
A definite improvement on depth 1-3" depending upon item. Extremely deep in all metal, silver dime at 12", just makes a chirp.

It finds stuff, amongst all the pull tabs dug found a 14kt gold butterfly ring.

Nice work... how did you do the new decal?

        Easy

with about an hour of time. Actually took me a few hours until I got it to where I liked it. It was my first time doing something like this with a photo editing program.

Scan the orig. faceplate , use paintshop pro to edit the scan a number of times and insert the new text, save it as a jpg., burn it to a CD disc, and and take it over to Kinko's to have them make a vinyl decal.

I heard that using Corel Draw (don't have that program) might have it much simpler.

What did Kinko's charge for the decal? Was it self-stick, or did you have to glue it on?

            A whopping....

            S3.78
Self stick vinyl, clear laminated, they didn't have matte finish, so I went to the dept. store and bought some matte clear contact paper to make it anti glare.

                Hi,
have you used the bandido's design for geb ?
What are the 2 disc modes ??? Fixed modes that gives you preset on disc , two independant disc pots ???

                Best regards,
                Max
