  • Problem with Tesoro Deep-Scan Coil

    Hello of friends,
I has a problem with a Tesoro coil for my selfmade-bandidoII-umax. It is a "Deep Search/Wide Scan" coil. How do I have to wire the coil? The plug-pinout is unusual.
    Please help me.

    Hi,
i checked again. Pin-2 is connected with pin-5. I wrote the resistance values in addition. http://www.kkmainz.de/Spule/Schaltung.jpg
How do coonnect the RX-coil and the TX-coil?

    Thank you,
    Uwe

      Problem with Tesoro Deep-Scan Coil

      Hi Uwe-Eich,

The normal wiring for a Tesoro concentric coil (and I assume this must be the same for the deep-scan coil) is orange/shield for TX and grey/purple for RX. There appears to be something wrong with your diagram, since the purple and screen are normally connected together within the coil. If you have an inductance meter you should also be able to check that the TX coil inductance is 5.9mH and the RX is 6.5mH.
      Hope this helps.
