Here is a picture of the fully assembled PCB in the enclosure. I have a 10" DD coil made by dfbowers on this forum that I will permanently attach. I also still need to finish my headphones which will also be permanently attached through the water-tight connectors.

Beware of isolated grounds. I think I had to add some jumpers to at least two areas to make a ground connection.

Please keep in mind that I did not etch my boards. They were machine milled. I had a few cut grounds due to the width of my engraving tool. The black and white image I posted was exported for your use so I never actually made a board with it. I have marked some trouble spots. Please check your grounds carefully with a meter before populating your board.

I think I have finally finished this project. Hopefully I will test it in the water later this summer. Here are some pictures of the Goldfish fully assembled.

Not much. I've only been out once with the Goldfish. I went to a freshwater beach about 50 miles away. As soon as I got there I sat my stuff down and saw gold in the sand. It was a small 14Kt gold ring. It was bent and not in very good shape. I searched in the water a bit and found targets but could not seem to scoop them up. I was using a long handled scoop I made from PVC pipe. I was only able to scoop up one target, a pull tab. I did find a few coins on the beach but the only gold was found by accident.

I know it has been a while, how did you make the headphones waterproof? To what depth do you think they will stay waterproof?

I did not attempt to make them waterproof. I did use mylar speakers so that if they did get wet, I don't think any permanent damage would be done.
