You need at least one diode for low tone and one more diode for high tone (driven by the FET).
Select the diodes you want according to the tone you want to hear.

At first, check if it works in normal (initial) mode.
If so you can go further, else re-check and correct.

One of the diodes D3, D4 and D5 must be connected to one of the pins 4024, for the low tone, and the other diode which is coupled with the FET must be connected to one of the pin 4024 to the tone high. HUGO is just what you are saying. It is very easy. You have a background tone, because one of the diodes D3, D4, D5 is disconnected. Check it carefully and it has to work.

When I switched to the right or to the left I have a permanent tone or silence. the all metal switch / discrimination is cable as originally and is put in position all metals when I do the test . help

        • Hi, I think I will remove the card and restore all the original on my TGSL components. the multi-tons mode is not air to operate either in standalone version or the other version, my malfunction persist despite that I think my cabling is correct. That being said a small doubt on point B to be connected on the switch and the 2 cards. Damage this additional service me interested strongly. But my limits of convenience store are right for me and I am apparently not able to find why I have this defect.

          • You have to see if your circuit TGSL without the 2-tone module is working. If everything is correct, you add the module of 2 tones.

              • I think the problem comes from improper connection of the switch. one terminal of the switch is not connected. Or some letters are not connecting to the right place.

                  • Here is a picture of my (very well working) detector.
I have labeled and colored the wires.
                    I can't be more accurate.
Have you noticed that the addon board is mounted upside down ?

                    • hello, yes I did see that the card was upside down. points are identical. what I was wired. double switch for me has two positions, then AB and GD GB 2 other points being in a vacuum. I have removed the components red cross 9 total. by cons I have no shunt below the motherboard.

Nico - please reduce the size of any images before attaching. You can use GIMP to do this. Set the longest side to 800 pixels.

I have reduced the size of the humungous photos you posted earlier.

Can you confirm this AOP is a LM308 ?
If so put the 100pF capacitor back or use a TL081 instead.
then AB and GD GB 2 other points being in a vacuum
Wrong, G point is connected either to point B either to point D.
by cons I have no shunt below the motherboard.
Right, with the piggyback board, you don't need no more link.
                            regards,

                            • by returning the capacitor 100p a part of the detector operates again by switching the position inrrupteur AB and GD connected connected the detector works but I have only one tone and some discrimination no longer seems to work. When in position and connected GB A and D in a vacuum I have no sound.

                              • reversal of resistor

Hello, I want your opinion on the photo below we see that two resistors are reversed on the picture from the pcb, or is the error? on the pcb? or on the picture?
