    But you better use my last schematic for the audio.
    The sound is better.

    Note : A small mistake on your PCB, the FET is connected to the CD4024 pin 8 instead of 9 ...
    i tried this mode on tgs with noch, not tgsl, but it does not work. any idea where is the mistake. I use 2N4393 is posible this is mystake

      @sevar12 :
      The pinout of the 2N4393 is different from the 2N3819. Gate and Source are reversed.

      Good luck,
      Hugo

              Thanks Hugo,

              Pics does clear things up for me. I will post pics as well once mine gets wired up with the 2 tone board.

                Got my 2 tone board and parts today from Silverdog! Thanks for the knobs.

                Hugo,

                Now that I have my board in front of me, I would hate to solder the two IC chips onto the board only to find out one dies. I am going to socket them and see if I can find header pins that are longer than the ones you have on your board.

                          If its not to much trouble have you the black and white circuit print layout for the 2 tone and the oscillator pcbs stand alone, types.

                          Many thanks in advance

                              • Hi Hugo
                                Im building another TGLS from scratch with components ive carefully checked for spec, ive not fitted any transistors or ics sockets yet, im just wondering wether it maybe worth making your piggy back 2 tone and soldring it directly into the main circuit board, what do you think?
                                Proberly the best way to go so the question is do you have a black and white pcb layout for the piggy back type.
                                sorry for been a pain

                                Regards
