TGSL 2 tones ID

Hi,

First of all, many thanks to Ivconic and Hugo for the schematics and all the R&D made.


As I use Kicad as my only electronic CAD sofware, I redraw all the schematics (TGSL and 2 tones mod).


So here the schematic of the TGSL including "2 tones" mod.


Would any of you be kind enough to check it ?

This thread is so cool!... maybe if we try add some spectrum analyzer, set filtering, we get led indicators (for ferrous or non-ferrous) so we know by just looking the led lights. Theory goes here http://sound.westhost.com/project136.htm and pcb are here http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/analo...-analyser.html or even compressed the sound using SA571 chip to get the detailed audio..

Welcome!
It's been a long time since i checked news here.
I haven't made TGSL for several years.
I guess i was kind a tired of those. I made 50-70 of those than, not sure, lost count.
Than other people continued to improve it.
Now it's interesting again to me, i would like to give it another try with this latest mods.
Any experiences with the latest schematic? Any video?

Have you deleted on U7 pin 1: R6 (1M) and C2 (22n)?

Here you have a 2-tone scheme. I have tested and works perfectly. The only problem is that the hot rocks, are detected with a low tone, like iron.

one russian did 2 tone in Classic much years ago by simple way. so I draw it for you. try to choice right value of additional resistor.
