I took a self-adhesive inkjet glossy paper and then I have printed the scale and logos on it. Background color is also like Tesoro

              • That looks very professional!

What program do you use to create the art work?

                Thanks for posting the pics.

                  Thanks Jerry,
the scales and fonts are made by @Bernte_one (member here on Geotech) I don´t know the name of the program. The Logos and Background are created by Adobe Photoshop .....

                  • Does this use 0603 SMD components or 1206?

                      Hi,
I think 1026 is too large, you better use 0603 or 0805.
                      Regards,
                      Hugo

                      • Cheers Hugo! Just ordered a kit from Silverdog hopefully be here by the weekend so I can play!

I'll use the EDU board to get a working base, and then try and build the SMD one to partner it

                        • Hi folks,
Please find below two pictures of the last release of the TGSL smd. Fully tested.
Some corrections and improvements have been done (no more links needed, 2 tones ready by adding several new pads).
Few PCBs are available, send a PM to Silverdog.
                          Enjoy it !

                          • Looks pretty cool that. Good effort.

Like the copper around the edge, would have been more effective if continuous - logo has opened the flood to a C shape.

                            Steve

If at all possible on one of the projects can the pots make it to the PCB edge - in order the user does not have to ad flying leads to pots.

                            • Hi golfnut,
Like the copper around the edge, would have been more effective if continuous - logo has opened the flood to a C shape.
                              I'm not sure about that.
In audio PCB, this gap is used to avoid what we call mass loop. Giving a background rumble.
That's why I leave this gap.
But, maybe I'm wrong with it !?

                              • Hi Hugo, you know how your installation uses with your little step-up card and how many batteries you use? 'cause I have a slightly different version of yours I put a photo. my editing step-up amounts to a little more than 130 mA with 3 V input and therefore 12 volts output, and about 100 mA with 4 cell 1.5.Click image for larger version
