  • A simple modification with Stuart II

    Hello everyone ,

I'm interested in making the stuart II metal detector to use it in a national competition to remove mines from the ground

I want the circuit to have an Led to indicate if there is a metal detected or not . not the change in sound frequency
I want too add a threshold if the signal is higher the led will be on

    Any help ??

No , it's not real mines
        It's a metalic cube 10cm*10cm*10cm buried in depth of 30 cm ( sand )

          Same issue ,
How can I use Led indication for detector (threshold not frequency )

clone has sound and indicator reaction on metal.

                Watch this video

                http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOgbD...layer_embedded
The detector have a led which turns on when metal is detected
                I want it like this

You can make baracuda pi or surf pi for that project and im sure it more powerful than the pi in the video.. To use led as indicator is possible to almost all pi and thise pi i mention is capable of that.. For that size of target this pi will detect that at around 50-120 cm.

                    Thank you for your response
Which one is simpler surf pi or baracuda pi ?
And how can put a led on it ( I think if I put the Led in place of speaker the led will flash at the same frequency )

just connect led to speaker connections with out speakers or with pos to pos neg to neg

a LED at Baracuda board. still not light, as pcb is in a process...
