  • Heating of U5 in surf1.2

    Hi ,
I am new here and it is a pleasure being part of this forum.
Nearly 2 years ago I bought a surf 1.2 from silverdog.
It was already done by silverdog I had just to make the coil and piwer supply.
For same resons I just couldnt get it working back then.
Now I started again and noticed the buzzer had burned out, I replaced it.
But than the U 5 was to hot to touch and measured 0 V in its output. I repaced it
And the same problem ocured, it burned out again. 0 V in its output. To hot to touch.
My coil has 1.7 ohm I use a 12 volt battery. Please help!
    Thank you in advance.

Hi homefire, yes that is exactly the site from which I got the schematic.
I ordered the board already done by Silverdog , so I thought it will be a piece of cake for me.
I took same photos kt 315, my phone has a bad camera, hope you could be able to help:
