Some time ago I was testing this method of blocking diodes with some modifications, and I noticed that it was sensitive to changes in temperature, and also did not obtain the same performance as the traditional method.
Another drawback was that there was a DC level that made it impossible to adjust to zero volts at the end of the preamp, so I left it.
Last night I was playing with the simulations, I took the one published by Teleno, and I incorporated the switch that Carl published, the result looks good, although they are my first steps with the simulators. I have to try in real life.
