          Hi Nicolae,

          For TX, I will start using the coil described at:
          http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15383

          For RX I will wind a new coil with about 180mm diameter and 300uH.
          I will take pictures during the coil construction and discuss the reasons for the method of construction used.

              FULL STOP ON THAT.

              hobbes suggestion of a coil that fits into a standard 8" coil housing is much better. So I will also build a complete new coil myself. Will post all the details.
