    The question is how are we going to setup a GB system that subtracts out the reactive ground signal not to mention the magnetic signal thats mixed in as well.

    It contains a tracking GB system that automatically switches over to a static GB when there is a target near the coil.

    If you have the time, look at all the posts of the TINKERERS IB-PI. this project has been evolving for some time.
    There are many pictures that show the discrimination capabilities and SAMPLING DURING FLYBACK.

      Do you guys ever use silver plated wire on coils - to get higher currents / feilds for the same drive power?

        With some types of coils it would be an advantage.

        Then one would have to carefully weight the advantage in coil weight with the higher cost.
